BSC is continuing to strive hard to serve our patients, both regular and new. Covering some areas in Dermatology that are no longer available within the NHS. Promoting good skin health enjoyed by both our gents and ladies which, many are reaping the rewards of their Home Care Treatments. I have introduced microneedling for hair loss and cellulite treatments and are watching these results unfold.
SKIN BOOSTERS
The babyGLOW has taken the local areas by storm and we have covered patients with these amazing skin boosters by Teoxane from as far as Truro, Bodmin, Saltash, Yelverton through to Okehampton and Exeter with 2 patients travelling to me from Exmouth. The results have been phinominal and I feel very privilidged to have seen these results with my patients who have been delighted with the outcome prior to their special occasion, one was within 24 hours of attending a function and she advised so worth the visit!
Many of you know that I am from a military background and as it is Armed Forces Day this month I am also opening up my clinic to you for a 15% discount to say Thank You for all that you do for us as individuals and this country. Another poignant day for many of us; and whilst dad's may go quietly about their business we are there to make a fuss of them! Why not consider a gift voucher or some treatment whether from Home Care Treatment, or a minor op to remove a skin tag / mole / wart; or for some a non injectable treatment and for some an injectable. ACNE AWARENESS MONTH
I am licensed for treatments from 12 years for acne treatments. This protocol will be for 12-18 using the cold platon plasma treatment, No pain and no downtime. The treatment incorporates a pre skin treatment using botanics , plasma pen and then a PURE mask for sensitive skin which holds a lot of peptides to absorb into the skin to complete the treatment. It really is a wow factor and if you book a block of 5 treatments, 1 week apart you will pay a reduced amount, as well as gain loyalty points towards further treatments of choice. You can also join our BSC membership Club for members only and receive benefits of this package.
For those above 18 years there are Chemical peels specific for inflammatory skin conditions as well as Cold Plasma pen with minimal downtime and the BLUE LED light if active acne or YELLOW LED light if inflammation raised along side the PURE mask.
The Home Care Treatments which we have in clinic are specific towards inflammatory skin conditions and are tailored to your individual needs. I will advise you on the treatments, how to use and specific SPF cover- You will be surprised how many think a standard over the counter SPF will do the job, but then finding you end up with clogged pores or increased sensitive skin.
I did so much of this advise when working in Dermatology and it is fantastic that I can empower you to complete your skin health to the best level.
END JUNE
The very exciting awards that we have won! My team and me are going to Bristol and London to collect the awards for BEST DERMATOLOGY CLINIC SOUTHWEST ENGLAND 2026 and CLINICAL EXCELLENCE 2026. So proud of our achievements in the past 18 months of being in clinic in Tavistock.
I am also completing my own skin care package as many of you know, alongside my daughter and best friend Jools ( who you will often speak to on the phone and be guided with treatments and advice). This is in preparation for my son's wedding at the end of August. I have started my REFRESH Chemical peels, had a babyGLOW and due my next very soon; of which I will need 3 in total due to my age, alongside my anti wrinkle treatment which I have had a Face to Face consultation and prescription raised for the anti wrinkle treatment of choice. Clare from Isabelle Wellness in Bude will be completing these treatments for me next week, ( also an amazing Registered Nurse with Aesthetics Clinic and working NHS) I look forward to sharing my journey on social media! I have to say it has been really rewarding so far and as I am paying the same as my patients I feel that it really is worth the money.

At our clinic, we offer a wide range of aesthetic and medical treatments tailored to enhance your natural beauty and well-being. Further on from this we offer radiofrequency with electroporation, a lovely treatment for firming and tightening areas, reducing cellulite and stretchmarks. All of these have a pre facial treatment and most have a mask following your treatment; some are lunch time treatments. For minor surgical needs, we offer cautery, shave excisions, and shortwave diathermy for the effective removal of skin tags and blemishes. Additional services include ear syringing and essential vitamin injections such as B12 and Vitamin C.
We also take pride in our skin health from inside out, promoting skinade through evidence based research we know that this mineral for collagen far exceeds the over the counter products that you can buy. It addresses multiple systemic support with evidence based research supporting collagen, promoting healthier skin,, hair and nails, improves skin conditions such as acne, eczema and psoriasis.
